During our Constructability Reviews, the Dana B. Kenyon team will evaluate all of the design systems and details to ensure you are getting efficiency and value during construction and long thereafter. Our analysis includes assessing the availability of materials, as well as subcontractor and supplier familiarity of proposed systems.

The Dana B. Kenyon Company provides Conceptual Cost Estimating at various phases of design to assist the client, designers and construction team in development of an accurate construction budget. By using our extensive historical database of cost information, we are able to provide you with highly precise conceptual estimates. Variance reports are utilized throughout the budget phase to identify changes to the budget. This detailed cost analysis allows us to determine if the design concepts, construction systems or materials proposed need to be adjusted to meet budget constraints.

Through the Value Engineering process, the Dana B. Kenyon team will evaluate the design, construction, materials and systems to determine if they are the most cost effective options to achieve the desired result. We provide recommendations for the feasibility of materials and labor forces based on current market conditions and offer alternatives that can save money without compromising performance, function or aesthetics. We also analyze the design to gauge its cost over a lifetime versus the initial costs.

Dana B. Kenyon Company will also provide Preliminary Scheduling to establish key milestones to measure the progress of the design, permitting budgeting phase, procurement and construction.
